Per 1 december heeft Backup-Connect de Online Backup diensten overgenomen van PINS Nederland.

Error Number 0xc800020e: An incremental backup cannot be performed when circular logging is enabled.

 

 

No backup report send by e-mail

Since friday 06-11-2009 no backup reports were send by e-mail.

This was for backup server backup04.backup-connect.com and backup06.backup-connect.com.

This problem has been solved and all the e-mails has  been send.

What databases are supported by the OBM backup client?

The statement BACKUP LOG is not allowed while the recovery model is SIMPLE

Problem description:

Backup failing with the following error in the backup log: “[Microsoft] [ODBC SQL Server Driver] [SQL Server] The statement BACKUP LOG is not allowed while the recovery model is SIMPLE”.

A backup set is Scheduled to backup the log files of MS SQL server. No log files are created when the recovery mode is not set to FULL . Therefore no backup of the log files can be made.
